Westside Sports Academy
Academy History
Founded in Mutare in 2005, Westside Sports Academy began as a community initiative to bring organised sport to Manicaland. Within three years, our cricket programme entered the provincial league and captured its first title in 2009.
Over the past 20 years, Westside has grown into a fully integrated multi-sport academy offering Cricket, Rugby, Tennis, Field & Track, and Chess — producing over 40 athletes who have gone on to represent Zimbabwe at national level.
Today, the academy operates teams across five sports, spanning senior, junior, and development levels throughout Manicaland province.
